Four fishermen out in their boat
preparing their rods, reels and bits,
to their surprise they caught a mermaid
who had a lovely big pair of ... uur? earrings!
Sorry I could not think of a word that rhymes with bits.
Just after I had taken this photo a great big blue whale dived out of the water and swallowed all the men including the boat, it was absolutely terrible, my camera's battery had run out so I missed a great photo.

The whale probably mistook them for bait bobbing up and down because of all the corny hats.
Martin, Martin, I am the expert on dealing with the hung-over.
I have just taken my friend Pallie out on a seven mile run in the heat of the day to cure her's.
Would you like me to pop over with some ice to sooth your savage brow and breast?
I like your tales too, Martin. My daughter ad her partner were digging for Mewgalodon Shark teeth some 50 million years old down in Summerville, South Carolina. I got a picture of some of the teeth as big as my hand and will be posting it on my Brookville blog. I think.
You probably don't remember when people lived and died at home and endured wakes. I wrote about it here. http://bing-it.blogspot.com/
What a pity, I'd have loved to see a pic of that big blue whale. We don't see many of them round here.... but, on second thoughts, that's probably cos the nearest ocean is 1000 miles away.
she had a lovely big pair of fishing permits...silly boy.
and she also brought some banana splits!
what a wonderful mermaid!
A mermaid with a barbed hook in her mouth... how sad. Everybody knows that it's better to use nets when fishing for mermaids.
